How to clean? 

I will be offering special cleaning pads for a nominal charge.

 

Returns?

Yes. You will have a limited time window.

 

What if my chain breaks? 

I have extensively "test driven" the chains. I wear them every day, in all activities, and I'm a bit hard on my things -  I've never broken one or had one break. However, accidents do happen, and sometimes things break - There will be an option to purchase a chain.

 

Replacement leather cord?

Yes. I will be offering an option for replacement cord. 

 

Is your 925 sterling silver jewelry hand made in Chicago and cast in the scenic Southwest by artisan casters?  

I design and make by hand the ENTIRE collection in my Chicago studio. It is cast in the Southwest by artisan casters. I oxidize and finish each piece after casting. All the silver is American 925 sterling silver. I touch every piece and hand treat all the sterling silver chains.  

MarLa studio is completley handmade in the USA.

You will have an option to select my 100% sustainable, biodegradable, 100% beautiful gift box.

 

Where did you learn to be a metalsmith?

I have my BFA from Washington University in St Louis, and MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. I've studied with master metalsmiths in Chicago.
